The IACUC supervises the daily management of animal experiments at the school, accepts related reports and complaints, and upholds animal welfare ethics.

01
All animal experiments conducted at the school must be approved by the IACUC ethics review before proceeding. The IACUC conducts strict reviews of the legitimacy of the research objectives and the appropriateness of the experimental methods. It reviews, approves, modifies, or revokes animal use protocols. It also reviews, approves, requests modification, or revokes approved animal use protocols.
02
The IACUC is responsible for supervising the implementation of animal use protocols during the process and conducting final reviews at the end of the project. It strictly enforces the system of experimental animal permits and supervises animal experiments conducted in facilities and experimental conditions specified by national regulations.
03
The IACUC inspects and urges practitioners to follow the principles of animal welfare in experiments. When necessary, the IACUC should independently or in conjunction with the experiment management personnel conduct inquiries, inspections, or on-site supervision to ensure animal welfare and to inspect and stop behaviors that violate the ethics of animal welfare in experiments. For teams and individuals who violate relevant laws and regulations, the IACUC will make resolutions based on the severity of the situation, including criticism, education, deadlines for rectification, or suspension of experiments, and record them for reference in future review applications.
04
The management norms and implementation of animal facilities are inspected every six months, and the operation of the animal facilities is evaluated.
05
The IACUC regularly organizes scientific and technical exchanges on experimental animals, publicizes regulations for the management of experimental animals, and introduces new developments in the field of experimental animal science. It upholds the rights and interests of school experimental animal workers, encourages and supports on-the-job training, professional development, continuing education, and participation in various forms of academic exchanges to improve the professional quality and technical level of experimental animal workers.
